This course may be offered in a 24-hour or 40-hour format. The Leadership Program addresses the basic theory of leadership as it applies to problem-solving. The principles of authority and command are also explored; as is the concept of failure as it relates to organizational decision-making. Examples are taken from various models of historic leadership styles, command and control, and situational leadership. Problem-solving/decision-making and strategic planning are current themes discussed in the context of leadership.
